About the event
A haibun is a concise literary form combining prose and haiku, originating in 17th-century Japan with Matsuo Basho. It typically features descriptive, often travel-related or autobiographical, prose that concludes with a haiku to provide a poignant, imagistic, or emotional "pivot" or "leap".
