Reflections

Around this time last year, Jonathan Heyhoe showed me a few images he shot in the Tate Gallery Cafe in London. He asked me to write stories or poems for them. They were intriguing, many-layered and I started writing at my leisure. A story within the story emerged and I suggested that we should juxtapose these urban images with something local, from County Down, where we both live. He brought another set of pictures that also contain many reflections. Jonathan created a scrapbook and we started to look for an exhibition space.

We were fortunate that the Marketplace Theatre and Art Centre in Armagh had a slot for a photographic exhibition on the foyer walls, in their 25th anniversary programme.

The exhibition opens on 6th June and closes on 19th July - and to accompany the work, we are printing a hundred copies of a limited edition book.
